I was engaged by The Finance Roome as their freelance marketing manager/copywriter. The Finance Roome is a financial services company providing mortgages and insurance products for individuals and businesses. I’ve been involved in writing, project managing and co-ordinating their new website, planning media strategy, writing and co-ordinating all social media, newsletters and digital campaigns. I also wrote a number of guides for The Finance Roome to use on their website and for content on social media and was instrumental in creating their monthly newsletter and blog posts.
I first met Ian Sawyer, Commercial Director of Assured Futures, when he kindly gave me some office space when I first went freelance many years ago. At that time he was M.D. of A-Plan Insurance. A short project writing digital content to support the launch of Gulf Oil’s sponsorship of Manchester United. Created the hashtag #GulfGetsYouThere which was used on all social media for this launch.
Had a great time working with the team at Social Energy as a freelance digital content copywriter for this innovative renewable energy company since March. I also developed the creative strategy for customer engagement and retention.
I was initially appointed by Endsleigh Insurance to write copy for their refurbished website and was then invited back to re-write their website when the company went through a complete re-brand. Take a look.
As part of the Endsleigh digital team it was also my job to write blog posts and SEO driven content to engage students with travel, gadget, life and car insurance. The role included researching and writing content such as this piece about moving out of halls.
It was great to be back at BPE Solicitors – like stepping back into a pair of old shoes. I helped out while the Marketing Manager was on maternity leave, writing and project managing brochures, writing collateral for a major charity event, including creating content for social media – writing web copy, project managing video testimonials and various internal communications. Here’s a little something I had a hand in!

Brand Launch & Strategy
BPE is an entrepreneurial law firm working with entrepreneurial businesses and individuals. I was a member of the creative team responsible for the launch of their new Business People Brilliant People brand. We wanted to show that BPE is an integral part of a business team. They work with brilliant people and together achieve great things. It’s all about building relationships. So many service industries talk about what they do and don’t show what they do. Showing your strengths through the eyes of your clients is a powerful message, so that’s what we did and what we continue to do.
