I initially trained as a copywriter in the creative department of a national advertising agency and have worked as a creative both in-house and for agencies. From Ad campaigns, events and marketing literature to SEO focused web copy, email and online campaigns, I create fresh thinking, innovative campaigns and copy that gets clients noticed.
My experience in marketing communications includes: strategic planning, brand development, production management, website planning and development and creative strategy. Having worked in marketing communications for many years has helped me to become a more insightful copywriter.
I am passionate about writing and helping to publish and promote other emerging and more established writers of fiction and poetry and so in July 2020 I created The Phare Literary Magazine and am joint Managing Editor.
I have a first class honours degree in Creative Writing and a Master’s Degree (distinction) in Creative & Critical Writing.
I enjoy and thrive upon challenge, am extremely motivated and have excellent communication skills.
